G. Sambasiva Rao has 30 years of rich experience in the Shipping Industry. He explored his capabilities from office assistant to Branch Manager in a multi crore and multi divisional company Binny Limited.

He quit Binny Limited to fulfill his inner urge for success and to bring out entrepreneurship by establishing a proprietary concern called Sravan Shipping Services Pvt. Ltd. in the year 1997.

Rao, a visionary with a down to earth personality, has grown leaps and bounds and expanded his wealth into entire foray of logistics with an addition of land banks around Vizag and Kakinada and ventured into warehousing activity, sighted the opportunity in container trade in shipping sector and started the first state-of-the-art container freight station in Andhra Pradesh in private sector.

Under his able and dynamic leadership, Sravan Group recorded fastest growth rate and group Companies having a Net Asset Value of more than Rs.200 Crores (Approx). He is the first entrepreneur in private sector in Andhra Pradesh to start Container Freight Station (CFS) in the year 2004 providing end-to-end logistics. He is an active member among the Visakhapatnam Industrialists as a Chairman � Confederation of Indian Industry.
