Sudarshan Bhagat is 45 years old Loksabha MP, elected from Lohardaga of Jharkhand state as a member of Bharatiya Janata Party. Sudarshan Bhagat was born to Shri Kalsai Bhagat & Smt. Manna Devi and is married to Smt. Krishana Toppo. Bhagat was a State (Bihar) General Secretary with the Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad as a student. He is a former Jharkhand Mukti Morcha member. He is a non-RSS MP of the BJP. He was a State (Bihar) General Secretary with the Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad as a student.

Bhagat started his career as a Vidyarthi Parishad leader in undivided Bihar in the early 1990s. He had joined ABVP in student life as State Joint Secretary, Bihar, which was Affiliated to RSS, Vanvasi Kalyan Kendra and participated in several social activities. He joined politics actively in 1995 Now the social justice and empowerment minister.
