Vishwanath is the founder member of Export Promotion Council of EOU and SEZ and of National Institute of Fashion Technology. He is a Commerce graduate from the Hindu college, Delhi, and has done post-graduation in foreign trade from Indian Institute of Fashion Technology. In addition to the membership of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he is the member of the Federation of Indian Export Organisation, Apparel Export Promotion Council, Indian Silk Export Promotion Council, Garment Exporters Association & Handicraft Export Association, etc. He is also the elected member of ASSOCHAM.

He is the Joint Managing Director of Messrs Nath Bros Exim International Ltd � weavers of silk fabrics and blends and exporters of ladies designer apparels to Europe and the US.

He is an active rotarian and a masonic, doing useful community work.
