Sumeet Mehta is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of LEAD, India’s foremost player in the School EdTech category with a network of 1.2 million+ students across 3000 schools and adding 300 schools a month currently.

As Co-founder of LEAD, Sumeet’s vision is to take excellent education to every child by transforming schools. He has benefited from his unique journey from a small town family of teachers to running businesses in consumer products and education companies to running schools himself. This helped him develop the LEAD Integrated System along with his Co-founder, Smita and scale the company to its current size.
Before founding LEAD, Sumeet was the Chief Executive Officer at Zee Learn (2007 to 2012). During this period he successfully scaled the company 5X with presence across pre-schools, K-12 schools, and school solutions. Prior to that, Sumeet spent eight years at Procter & Gamble Singapore, where he led Healthcare and Skincare businesses across Asia Pacific.
An alumnus of IIM-Ahmedabad and PEC Chandigarh, he grew up in Pathankot, Punjab, and currently lives in Mumbai with his family. He is an avid reader and traveller.
