A seasoned educator, Dr. G. P. Saradhi Varma currently serves as the Vice-Chancellor, KL Deemed-to-be University. With close to three decades of experience, Dr. Varma is a noted educationist and is known for his technical acumen. He brings his scholarly interests to his role as Vice-Chancellor through his efforts to encourage innovation in education. Before his tenure at KL Deemed to be University, he held academic and senior leadership positions in CBIT, Hyderabad, Telangana and SRKR Engineering College in Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh. In his capacity as an educational theorist, Dr. Varma envisions the highest standard of excellence in education. Since assuming his position at the KLDeemed to be University, he has guided the Institution’s profile to national and international visibility. He has also spearheaded the university’s collaborative events with various government and private organisations.

As a stakeholder in the Indian education system, he has an association with several national organisations in an advisory capacity. Dr. Varma is currently the Chairman of ISTE (Indian Society for Technical Education), AP State. He is also elected member of TSEMCET Test Committee 2021 and Board Member, GEDC (Global Engineering Deans Council).

Dr. Varma has been the recipient of several accolades for his research and contributions to the global Engineering landscape. Some of the noted ones include:

Dr. Saradhi Varma holds a Ph.D in Computer Science and Systems Engineering from Andhra University. He also obtained his Master’sdegree from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Manipal Institute of Technology. His major fields of academic interests range from research culture in educational institutions, computational formal languages, unified modelling languages and HTML concepts on which he has published numerous articles and books.
