Gaurav Singh was born in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, a small town about 400 kilometers away from the capital Bhopal. In a township with ~50% literacy, Gaurav is the epitome of an Indian success story. Gaurav studied in the local government school, but quickly picked a fondness for programming and technology. Through college he freelanced as a web developer to make money, so he could move to Bangalore to kickstart his professional career. He worked at TCS, LT Research and Vizury before taking a dive into the entrepreneurial pool. His first company, GoDeliver was acquired by MagicTiger and he founded Verloop promptly after. Since then Verloop has on boarded over 5000+ clients and is currently valued at $8 million. Gaurav leads an incredibly healthy life, he enjoys endurance cycling and loves keeping in shape.

A developer by profession, Gaurav is a serial entrepreneur. Before Verloop, he co-founded GoDeliver, which was acquired in 2015.

Gaurav has extensive experience in designing scalable systems, personalisation at scale and looks at company strategy and growth.

As a serial entrepreneur, Gaurav has seen first-hand the challenges that growing companies face at every juncture. In this age of instant gratification, one of the biggest challenges, especially in maturing markets, is engaging customers and building loyalty.

Gaurav realized that there needs to be a far superior technology solution in the market — one that can bring an unprecedented level of personalization in customer interaction, even as companies scale up. Co-founder Piyush and Gaurav realized that AI-based customer engagement products could be the answer. Which is how Verloop came into being. Verloop is a Customer Support and Engagement Automation platform that currently helps 5,000+ businesses across the world automate pre and post-sales engagement with customers. Some of the biggest customers include Nykaa, Livpure, Apollo Munich Health Insurance and Abhibus.
