Vivek Gupta is the Chief Technology Officer at CoinDCX, India’s largest crypto exchange. Vivek leads CoinDCX’s technology team with a firm focus on strengthening CoinDCX’s product experience while continually ensuring that the platform remains reliable, secure and seamless for its end users. He is a firm believer of technology and the critical need for tech to be built transparently and simply. With this mission in mind, he spearheaded the technology and product development for Okto, a self-custody DeFi wallet which is now available in over 60 countries.
Over the span of his career, Vivek has worked with multiple startups across different sectors, including fintech, e-commerce and social commerce. Vivek has extensive experience in product engineering, technology, and innovation, as well as scaling solutions for growth. Vivek is also a technologist at heart, and believes in crypto’s eventual proliferation across the globe, much like how the internet grew exponentially during the Web 2.0 era.
