Manish Patel is the CIO of MG Motor India Pvt Ltd wherein he is responsible for strategic planning of IT initiatives and innovations. Manish has been a part of MG Motor India ever since its inception in 2018. In less than 2 years, he implemented all the relevant Application Layers including connectivity management platform for vehicles and supporting applications, setting a global benchmark by implementing connected vehicle services in record time in India. He is visionary and goal-oriented with demonstrated experience in planning, developing, and implementing cutting edge information technology solutions to address business strategies. He facilitates digital transformation from a strategic, analytics, user experience and operations perspective.

With experience spanning over 26 years in the automotive industry, Manish has extensive IT expertise spanning technical and solution engineering to form strategic alliances, keeping in mind the needs and requirements of the Indian market and global automotive industry.

Prior to joining MG Motor India, Manish was the Chief Information Officer of General Motors India.
