Mudit Dandwate is the Co-founder and CEO of Dozee (Turtle Shell Technologies Private Limited), a company dedicated to simplifying and transforming healthcare in India and beyond. Proudly Made In India, Dozee stands as India’s first Contactless Remote Patient Monitoring solution, steadily and systematically pioneering patient monitoring in hospitals and at home.
A mechanical engineer by education, Mudit graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, in 2013. Before initiating Dozee, he worked as a vehicle dynamics expert at Altair Technologies, where he designed, built, and raced four full-scale race cars, including India’s first electric race cars. Mudit is no stranger to out-of-the-box thinking. He pioneered an MCC-approved cricket bat licensed by Slazenger, which is still in use. Additionally, on June 26, 2017, after losing his arm to a crocodile attack while attempting to save his dog, he designed his own Thought-Controlled Bionic Arm.
Fueled by his passion, he embarked on his Dozee journey in 2015 with Gaurav Parchani, an IIT Indore alumnus. Today, that journey is positively impacting lives across the country and beyond. Mudit is regarded as an unconventional thinker with many firsts to his credit. Under his leadership, Dozee fulfils the promise of making healthcare accessible, affordable, and available to millions of patients.
As one of the fastest-growing health-tech companies globally, Dozee has established a presence in 370+ hospitals covering 40+ districts in India and is now expanding its operations in Africa. Mudit has received multiple accolades, including Forbes India 30under30 2021, ET Innovation Award 2020, Anjani Mashelkar Inclusive Innovation Award 2020, and BML Munjal Award 2022, among others.
