Manikandan Thangarathnam

At Uber, Manikandan heads the Bangalore tech centre and leads a team of engineers who drive innovations and deliver world class gestures on Mobility and the Marketplace both locally and globally.
Manikandan has more than 20 years of experience in the tech industry. In his last role he led a global, cross-functional team for the Amazon AppStore. He played a leadership role in bootstrapping the Amazon Chennai development office. As part of this growth journey, he enjoyed interviewing and did more than 2000+ interviews in his career. He is very passionate about driving innovation and has secured more than 12 patents.
