Saurav Kumar is the CEO and founder of Euler Motors, an automotive OEM focused on transforming transportation in the country with electric commercial vehicles. He leads product development and business expansion. He has also been involved in the design and development of HiLoad (the company’s first cargo three-wheeler) and its battery pack, as well as customer engagement and liaising with investor groups to raise funds for the company’s expansion.
Euler Motors, found in 2018, is already recognized as one of the top EV makers of the country. With their custom made EVs, Euler Motors aims to create superior alternatives to traditional mobility for mass adoption of electric vehicles and giving customers a seamless experience. The company boasts of leading customers like Flipkart, Bigbasket, Udaan and Magenta, among others. The company has been recognized for its technology prowess and innovation at many platforms with HiLoad winning the ‘EV of the year’ at the recently held Apollo CV Awards.
Saurav is an innovator who is passionate about technology and work on driving advancements that helps to make lives better. Saurav recently became part of the Elite BW Auto World 40 under 40 power list of young achievers of 2021 and was felicitated by Hon'ble Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari.
Before Euler Motors, Saurav co-founded Cube26 Software Pvt. Ltd, a successful mobile technology platform that helps to improve consumer engagement experience. Cube26 was funded by Tiger Global and Flipkart. Cube26 was acquired by Paytm at the beginning of 2018.
An alumnus of Delhi College of Engineering, he had successfully raised funds from DSIR to build an autonomous ground vehicle. After completing engineering, he joined INRIA in France where he worked on the next generation of Driving Assistance Systems to mitigate roadside accidents. Later, he joined Cornell University’s Master’s program in Computer Science focusing on Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing. During his Cornell days, he worked on building a machine learning and computer vision system for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles that received the accolade from the Office of Naval Research, U.S.A.
