Ashish Singhal is the founder and CEO of CoinSwitch. Before starting CoinSwitch, he held various leadership positions at Amazon, Microsoft, and Livspace. His problem-solving mindset has led him to win every major hackathon in the nation. In 2017, he started CoinSwitch, a global aggregator of Cryptocurrency exchanges. Under Ashish’s leadership, CoinSwitch scaled to profitability within a few months of launch and is India’s largest (in terms of number of users) and most valued Crypto unicorn. In June 2020, CoinSwitch launched CoinSwitch Kuber, an INR to Crypto on-ramp platform, which has now become India’s largest cryptocurrency platform within 1.5 years of its launch with a valuation of approximately $2 Billion. Ashish is also the Co-Chair of the Blockchain and Crypto Assets Council (BACC), a part of the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI).
