Punit is the Managing Partner at Alteria Capital, running India’s largest Venture Debt Fund which has an AUM of ~4500 crores. He has made over a 100 investments across all sectors like B2B commerce, Fintech, Healthcare, Logistics and Consumer Internet. A few of the marquee deals include, Zepto, Bluestone, Infra.Market, Chaayos,, Jai Kisan, Cogoport, WoW Skin Scinences among others and dealt with founders of every possible age, background, personality. He is also an honorary member of the Investment Committee of JIIF, the startup investment arm of JITO. He brings 15 years of experience in dealing with companies of all sectors and sizes. He has seen businesses go through every possible business cycle both highs and lows and has an incredibly sharp nose for spotting wins and gaps in a business and team. He is committed to partnering with exceptional entrepreneurs in India across the lifecycle of their startups as they build iconic institutions of the coming decades. Punit has led a varied set of deals in sectors. Punit also advices and consults (on a pro bono basis) with research firms and other stakeholders who have keen interest in learning and understanding the dynamics of the startup ecosystem. In addition, Punit also has been invited to provide guest lectures at B-schools and seminars to promote Entrepreneurship and share insights on the venture ecosystem. Prior to his experience in the venture lending space, Punit was involved with Yes Bank where he managed relationships in the Media, Entertainment & Sports space and creating credit structures for financing films and Studios.
