Praharsh Chandra is the Chief Operating Officer of Shadowfax – India’s largest crowdsourced logistics platform. This alumnus of IIT Delhi, graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 2013 and started his career as a consultant in AT Kearney – a global management consulting firm.

But as a dynamic, highly result-driven, and relentlessly passionate individual, Praharsh had always wanted to do something that would have a positive impact on lives directly. So, when his friends, Abhishek Bansal and VaibhavKhandelwalcofounded Shadowfax – the Uber for last mile logistics, Praharsh knew he had found his calling – to hit the right operational note and give a real and sustainable source of earning to millions of people.

Thanks to his IIT syllabus and previous work experience, Praharsh has a deep understanding of Supply Chain management and operations. His strong sense of problem solving and aggression for innovation has ensured that Shadowfax emerges a winner in this operation heavy, fiercely competitive domain of logistics.

This 4-year old start-up has already cooked its recipe for success with the development of a distinctive solution in form of an app that combines the power of crowdsourced delivery partners, bikes, and LCVs through a single platform for hyperlocal and ecommerce deliveries.The Shadowfax app also doubles up as a learning platform for partners to upskill and train every Shadowfax delivery partner to make delivery a pleasant experience for customers.

Today, Shadowfax has a base of 1,00,000 crowdsourced partners across 500 India cities doing over 1cr order a month and enjoys the trust of over 5000 clients.

Managing such a gigantic network operation is no slight task; it takes immense innovative and leadership skills to ensure a seamless end to end first mile to last mile delivery process. This is where Praharsh Chandra’s professional acumen comes to play that garners effectiveness in supply management and efficiency in the overall delivery process.

Praharsh has been instrumental in helping Shadowfax become the preferred partner of Ecom giant Flipkart with the win of the coveted Flipkart’s LMA Award, 2019. Under his able leadership, Shadowfax has grown to become one of the most competitive start-ups in the country and has won several awards in the logistics, retail and the supply chain domain.

He is probably the youngest COO in the logistics sector but his achievements are testimony to his operational expertise, innovative spirit, and sharp astuteness.
