As the Co-Founder and CEO of Zoomcar, Greg Moran spearheads the entire operations of the Bangalore-based self-drive car rental company.
Greg believes that sustainability is the most important issues for the next 100 years, and has dedicated his entire career to sustainable development across the globe.
When Greg was studying at USC’s Marshall School of Business, he founded and served as the President of the USC Energy Club, which was the largest club in its league in Southern California.
He is also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, holding a degree in International Relations.
His professional career thus far spans projects based in six continents and collectively worth over USD 12 billion.
Prior to starting up Zoomcar, Greg has held positions in investment banking, private equity, corporate business development, and energy policy formulation with Fieldstone Private Capital Group, Cerberus Capital, International Power, and the City of New York respectively.
Being at the forefront of the overall operations and management of Zoomcar, Greg envisions to venture into more self-drive mobility categories, while taking the venture to multiple emerging markets. Specifically in the Indian market, he plans to have over 5 lakh cars in more than 50 cities.
While he's not busy Zooming, Greg enjoys playing the piano and hitting the golf links. A major fitness buff, Greg also enjoys Crossfit and other sports like tennis and basketball.
Driven to give back to society in more than one way, Greg used to teach music and provide academic tutoring to the underprivileged children in Philadelphia (USA). The team at Zoomcar has also supported several NGOs working for the Swachh Bharat drive.
