Sameer is General Manager and Head Of India -responsible for Leading Strategic Initiatives,
GTM,Operations, Sales, Implementation, Support and General Management functions for
Zoom in country.
Associated with the world of collaboration since its inception in India, and having helped
numerous customers and partners to overcome challenges around SaaS based collaboration
technologies, Sameer is sought after and considered to be one of the trusted & go to person by
industry veterans. Sameer has been associated with companies like Cisco Webex, IBM and
Microsoft during his career where he built and lead high profile teams specializing in winning
large complex transactions. He was last associated with West Unified Communications
(Intercall) for close to 7 years as Director Sales - India and for Small Medium Customer
Business across Asia Pacific.Sameer spearheaded the journey for West Corporation in country
to become the second largest ASP by winning some of the largest cloud collaboration deals
and by winning numerous industry rewards. Known for forging extremely strong
relationships across customers and partners, Sameer joined Zoom in April 2019 to kick start
its operation.
An Engineer from M.S. University of Baroda by education, Sameer is an avid runner, cyclist
and an automobile enthusiast. He spends his free time either working on or riding
motorbikes.
