Prasad Ramakrishnan is the Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security
Officer at Freshworks responsible for the IT vision and strategy of the company and its
execution.
With over 25 years of experience in the Information Technology sector, Prasad drives
the implementation and management of Freshworks internal business systems,
business intelligence, and analytics, and global IT infrastructure to scale Freshworks.
Prior to joining Freshworks, Prasad was the CIO of Veeva. Before that, he was the VP
of IT at HotChalk and headed IT teams at Bodhtree, Buxton, Infoblox, FormFactor,
Brocade, Keane (NTTData), Intraware and had started his career at Wipro.
He is also the executive board member of OptimEyes AI and an advisory board member
of Strikedeck. Prasad was an early adopter and customer of Freshworks during his stint
at HotChalk and brings a whole new perspective from the angle of the customer for
Freshworks.
Prasad holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a diploma in Business
Administration (Marketing) from Madras University, a Master’s in Computer Applications
from Anna University, and an MBA in Global Management from the University of
Phoenix.
