Prof. Hrushikesh Senapaty is the director of National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). Earlier, he was heading the Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Bhopal (a constituent unit of NCERT), as its principal.
He is an alumnus of BJB College in Bhubaneswar and Devi Ahilya Bai University. He joined RIE (Bhopal) in 1997 as Associate Professor. Subsequently, he also worked with RIE in Bhubaneswar as professor, before coming back to Regional Institute of Education(RIE), Bhopal as its principal in 2012.
