Yulu EVs Cross 2 Billion Kilometres in India
Yulu electric vehicles have crossed 2 billion kilometres in India, doubling their distance in just 14 months.

Shared EV mobility company Yulu announced that its electric vehicles have cumulatively covered 2 billion kilometres across India, marking a milestone higher than any other player in the shared EV segment. Remarkably, while it took six years to reach the first billion kilometres, the next billion was achieved in just 14 months.

The acceleration has been driven by growing demand from quick-commerce and on-demand services. Yulu’s delivery EVs are integrated with platforms like Zomato, Swiggy, BigBasket, Blinkit, Flipkart Minutes, Instamart, Zepto, and home service platforms including Urban Company, Pronto, and Snabbit.

The company claims its platform has helped gig workers save 30–40% more compared to petrol vehicles. To date, over 500,000 gig workers—including more than 1,000 women riders—have used Yulu. Environmentally, the fleet has contributed to avoiding 54 million kg of urban CO2 emissions over the past seven years.

Amit Gupta, CEO and Co-founder of Yulu, said the 2-billion-kilometre milestone reflects the company’s market leadership and impact on urban mobility in India. He emphasized Yulu’s continued commitment to providing sustainable and accessible mobility solutions for people, businesses, and cities.

Currently, Yulu operates a fleet of 45,000 electric two-wheelers across Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, and Hyderabad. The company aims to double its fleet size and expand into new cities in FY2027 through both company-led and partner-led launches.
