Yulu has crossed 1 billion kilometres of rides in Bengaluru, highlighting rapid growth in last-mile EV mobility. Its expanding fleet is supporting large-scale deliveries while promoting cleaner and more efficient urban transport.

Electric vehicle (EV) platform Yulu has crossed the milestone of 1 billion kilometres of rides in Bengaluru, highlighting the rapid growth of last-mile mobility solutions in the city.

The company currently operates a fleet of around 22,500 EVs in Bengaluru, supporting both short-distance commuting and delivery services. According to Yulu, the fleet enables nearly 300,000 deliveries per day and has completed about 190 million deliveries in the city so far.

This milestone comes amid rising demand for quick-commerce and e-commerce logistics, where electric two-wheelers are increasingly being used for last-mile operations. Industry experts view this segment as a key driver of EV adoption in urban India due to high utilisation rates and predictable routes.

The achievement also underscores the growing role of shared EV platforms in tackling urban mobility challenges such as traffic congestion, pollution, and the need for cost-effective transport solutions.

Yulu estimates that its operations in Bengaluru have helped avoid approximately 27 million kilograms of carbon dioxide emissions. While these figures are based on internal calculations, they align with broader efforts to position EV-based shared mobility as a cleaner alternative to conventional fuel-powered vehicles.

Beyond Bengaluru, Yulu operates in major cities including Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, and Hyderabad. Across these markets, the company has a combined fleet of around 46,000 EVs, which have collectively covered nearly 2 billion kilometres.

Looking ahead, Yulu plans to expand its Bengaluru fleet to between 35,000 and 40,000 vehicles over the next year, in response to growing demand from both commuters and delivery partners.
