Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup’s EV charging arm V-Green has partnered with ChargeZone to develop a shared charging network for VinFast vehicles in India. As part of the agreement, the first charging station was launched on May 28, 2026, at Mangla Trade Hub in Vadodara, Gujarat, located near a VinFast dealership.
The newly launched station is equipped with a 60 kW DC fast charger featuring dual-gun capability, enabling simultaneous charging of two vehicles. According to the companies, 15 co-branded charging stations under this partnership are already operational across India.
Under the arrangement, ChargeZone will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and customer service of the charging stations, while V-Green will focus on site selection and network expansion planning. This model allows a clear division of responsibilities between the EV manufacturer ecosystem and the local charging operator.
The partners plan to deploy around 100 additional charging stations over the next six months, expanding coverage across major cities and highway corridors. ChargeZone currently operates more than 15,000 charging points across India and the UAE.
V-Green, part of the Vingroup ecosystem alongside VinFast, already manages large-scale EV charging networks in Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines. The India partnership marks its first co-branded charging collaboration in the country and is seen as a key step in supporting VinFast’s expansion in the Indian electric vehicle market.
