Electric vehicle manufacturer Ultraviolette Automotive has inaugurated its 40th experience centre in India, located in Nagpur, Maharashtra, marking a significant expansion of its retail and service footprint in emerging EV markets.

The facility, branded as a UV Space Station, was inaugurated by Nitin Gadkari. With this addition, Ultraviolette now operates across 35 cities nationwide.

The Nagpur centre offers an integrated 3S (sales, service, and spares) experience under one roof, including test ride facilities, service support, and access to genuine spare parts. The company has partnered with Quantum Surge Motors LLP to manage the facility.

The new outlet will showcase Ultraviolette’s performance electric motorcycles, including the X-47 Crossover and the F77s. These models feature a 40.2 hp powertrain, 100 Nm torque, and a 10.3 kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed IDC range of 323 km.

The X-47 Crossover stands out with advanced rider assistance systems powered by a 77 GHz rear radar, enabling features such as blind-spot monitoring, lane change assist, overtake alerts, and rear collision warnings. It also includes a 5-inch TFT display, multiple ride modes, and an integrated dashcam.

Ultraviolette has also introduced a battery subscription model under its Battery Flex (BaaS) platform, allowing customers to purchase the motorcycle chassis separately while subscribing to battery usage starting at ₹2,499 per month. Under this model, the X-47 is priced from 1.49 lakh.

Founded in 2016 by Narayan Subramaniam and Niraj Rajmohan, the company focuses on advanced EV platforms and battery technology. It is backed by investors such as Lingotto, TDK Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures, Zoho Corporation, TVS Motor Company, and Speciale Invest.

Ultraviolette has also begun expanding internationally, exporting its electric motorcycles to multiple European markets, further strengthening its global presence in the EV segment.
