Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. (TMPV) has announced a price hike across its passenger vehicle portfolio. According to the company, prices of its internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicles (EVs) will increase by up to ₹25,000, effective September 1, 2026.
The company said the extent of the price increase will vary depending on the model and variant. Despite the revision, Tata Motors aims to maintain the overall value proposition of its vehicles.
According to Tata Motors, the price revision has been introduced to partially offset the impact of rising input costs and sustained inflationary pressures. The company said it continues to absorb a significant portion of the cost increase, while passing on part of the impact to customers through the price adjustment.
Following the revision, prices of Tata Motors’ petrol, diesel and electric cars and SUVs will increase depending on the respective model and variant.
