Battery circularity and resource recovery company PeakAmp has announced a partnership with Pacto Power to manage battery waste generated across its operations. The collaboration aims to ensure compliance, traceability, and responsible disposal of battery materials.
Under the agreement, PeakAmp will act as the exclusive partner, handling the end-to-end lifecycle of battery waste, including collection, logistics, recycling, and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance. The companies will also collaborate on second-life applications and the development of new lithium-ion batteries.
Aditya Sudhanshu, Co-Founder and COO of PeakAmp, stated that with the growing use of batteries, responsible and compliant waste management has become critical. He added that the partnership will help build a more transparent and efficient battery waste ecosystem.
Manoj Kushwaha, Director at Pacto Power, said the collaboration strengthens the company’s commitment to responsible battery lifecycle management. He noted that PeakAmp’s structured approach will enhance transparency, efficiency, and sustainability, while also opening opportunities for innovation in battery reuse and development.
The partnership is expected to strengthen the formal recycling ecosystem by ensuring battery waste is processed through authorised channels, reducing leakages into informal networks and improving material recovery. It reflects a broader industry shift towards integrating compliance and traceability into core waste management systems.
