Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer Oben Electric has launched its new electric motorcycle, the Rorr EVO. The company has introduced it at an introductory price of ₹99,999 (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers, after which it will be priced at ₹1,24,999 (ex-showroom). Bookings have opened at ₹777, with test rides and deliveries set to begin from June 2026 across 150 showrooms nationwide.
Positioned as a performance-oriented electric motorcycle, the Rorr EVO offers a claimed IDC range of 180 km, a top speed of 110 km/h, and acceleration from 0–40 km/h in just 3 seconds. It is powered by a 9 kW motor paired with a single-stage chain drive and a 3.4 kWh LFP battery. Using the Oben Plug fast charger, the battery can be charged from 0 to 80% in 90 minutes.
A key highlight of the motorcycle is its AI-based SmartIQ ride mode, which analyses riding patterns to optimise power delivery and is claimed to improve range by up to 15%. The bike features a streetfighter-inspired design with a projector headlamp, sculpted body panels, and a seat height of 780 mm. It also offers 200 mm ground clearance and a 230 mm water-wading capability.
The Rorr EVO comes with 10 litres of storage through under-seat and tank compartments, along with dual USB charging ports. Safety and connectivity features include Fall Alert with Emergency Assist, Unified Brake Assist (UBA), and Driver Alert System (DAS). It also gets a 5-inch TFT display with navigation and smartphone connectivity via the Oben app, enabling features such as geo-fencing, ride analytics, theft protection, and remote diagnostics.
According to Madhumita Agrawal, the product reflects a shift in positioning electric motorcycles as a complete riding experience rather than just an alternative to internal combustion engine vehicles.
The Rorr EVO will be available in four colour options: Pulse Red, Neutron Blue, Magnetic Black, and Photon White.
