Kazam launched a playful April Fool’s campaign featuring a fictional energy drink ‘Vrooom’ to highlight EV challenges during extreme summer conditions.

As India gears up for a record-breaking summer in 2026, Kazam has introduced a creative April Fool’s campaign featuring a fictional product called “Vrooom.” Marketed as a “fortified energy drink” that takes you from 0 to 100 without charging, the concept is designed as a humorous take on energy and mobility needs during extreme heat.

The campaign cleverly addresses real challenges faced by EV users in India’s harsh summers, such as battery degradation, reduced driving range, and grid reliability issues. By presenting an exaggerated solution in the form of an energy drink, Kazam draws attention to the importance of reliable EV charging infrastructure and energy management systems.

Launched across Instagram and Facebook starting March 30, 2026, the digital campaign blends humor with practical insights. It showcases commuters “drinking” Vrooom to overcome range anxiety, while subtly reinforcing how Kazam’s technology is built to handle demanding weather conditions and ensure seamless mobility.

Commenting on the initiative, Vani Vivek, Head of Marketing at Kazam, said the idea was to create a fun, engaging campaign that also communicates a serious message. While the product itself is fictional, the underlying message is clear—Kazam’s solutions are designed to keep India moving, even in the most challenging environments.
