Honda ZR-V e:HEV Launched in India at 47.99 Lakh

Honda Cars India has launched its new flagship SUV, the Honda ZR-V e:HEV, in the Indian market at an introductory price of ₹47.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Imported from Japan as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), the strong hybrid SUV is now available for deliveries across the country.

According to the company, the Honda ZR-V e:HEV has sold over 800,000 units globally since its international debut in 2022. The SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre direct-injection Atkinson-cycle petrol engine paired with Honda's dual-motor e:HEV hybrid system and an e-CVT transmission. The powertrain delivers 184 PS of power, 315 Nm of torque, and an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 22.8 km/l. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds.

Commenting on the launch, Kunal Behl, Vice President – Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India, said that the ZR-V e:HEV represents Honda's new flagship SUV in India, combining advanced strong hybrid technology with premium design, comfort, and safety. He added that bookings for the first two batches have already been completed, reflecting strong customer interest.

The Honda ZR-V e:HEV features full-LED lighting, 18-inch alloy wheels, an all-black leather interior, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Inside, it offers a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.2-inch fully digital driver display, a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system, and wireless smartphone charging.

Additional convenience features include 60:40 split-fold rear seats, up to 1,313 litres of boot space, power-adjustable front seats, a hands-free power tailgate, paddle shifters, and an electronic parking brake.

On the safety front, the SUV comes equipped with Honda SENSING ADAS, featuring Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), and Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM). It also includes eight airbags, a 360-degree camera, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Descent Control, front and rear parking sensors, and Honda's ACE body structure for enhanced occupant protection.

The Honda ZR-V e:HEV is available in Twilight Mist Black Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, and Crystal Black Pearl. Honda is offering the SUV with a 3-year unlimited kilometre warranty, 3-year roadside assistance, an 8-year/160,000 km lithium-ion battery warranty, and an optional Anytime Warranty of up to 10 years.
