Hero MotoCorp VIDA Unveils Limited Edition DIRT.E K3
Hero MotoCorp electric vehicle brand VIDA has unveiled a limited edition of its DIRT.E K3 electric off-road bike. Limited to 100 units, the special edition features exclusive 6DAYS® branding and Portugal-inspired design accents.

Hero MotoCorp electric vehicle brand VIDA has unveiled a limited edition of its electric off-road bike, the DIRT.E K3, at the 100th FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) event in Grândola, Portugal. The limited edition will be restricted to just 100 units, with each bike carrying a unique number linked to a specific edition of the event. First held in 1913, ISDE is one of the longest-running events in international off-road motorcycling. With this launch, VIDA has made its debut at ISDE.

Through this association, VIDA has become the first Indian electric vehicle brand to enter into an official partnership with ISDE, organised under the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM). The limited edition features official 6DAYS® branding, green and red accents inspired by the Portuguese flag, and racing-inspired typography. Apart from these design changes, the bike retains the same mechanical specifications as the standard DIRT.E K3.

First introduced in December 2025, the DIRT.E K3 is designed specifically for children and young riders. One of its key features is its adjustable design, which allows the handlebar height, footrest position and seat height to be changed without using tools. This enables the bike to be adjusted according to a rider’s height and physical requirements, allowing it to remain suitable as the rider grows.

The VIDA DIRT.E K3 comes with a mobile app that allows users to monitor riding data, remotely set speed limits and change riding modes. The bike features three riding modes controlled through a thumb throttle. Mode 1 offers a maximum speed of 9 kmph, Mode 2 allows speeds of 17–18 kmph, while Mode 3 reaches up to 24 kmph. These modes are designed to help new and less experienced riders gradually build their riding skills.

For safety, the bike is equipped with a magnetic kill switch that automatically cuts power when the rider separates from the vehicle. It also features a 60 mm rear disc brake. The DIRT.E K3 is powered by a removable 360 Wh lithium-ion battery, which takes approximately three hours to charge fully, according to the company. The battery can also be removed from the bike and charged separately.

The DIRT.E K3 received the Red Dot Design Award in 2025 and was also recognised as a CES 2026 Innovation Award Honoree. According to VIDA, these recognitions reflect the company’s focus on design and innovation in the youth electric mobility segment.

With the limited edition launch at ISDE, VIDA aims to strengthen its presence in the electric off-road mobility segment for young riders. While conventional petrol-powered off-road bikes have an established presence in this category, electric alternatives are gradually emerging in the market.

Limited to 100 units, the special edition is also positioned to appeal to motorcycle enthusiasts and collectors. By linking each bike to a specific edition of ISDE, VIDA has connected the model with the event’s long-standing legacy in international off-road motorcycling.
