Green Drive Mobility and Tata Motors have expanded their partnership to scale electric commercial vehicle deployment across logistics operations in India.

Green Drive Mobility and Tata Motors have announced an expansion of their existing partnership to accelerate the deployment of electric commercial vehicles across logistics operations in India. Under the collaboration, Green Drive Mobility is using Tata Motors’ electric cargo vehicles for first-mile, mid-mile, and last-mile delivery services across multiple sectors.

The company aims to build a fleet of around 1,000 electric cargo vehicles by 2028, depending on market demand and operational requirements. The initiative is expected to significantly boost the adoption of sustainable and green logistics solutions in the country.

Green Drive Mobility Founder and CEO Hari Krishna said the partnership is helping create a scalable and reliable electric logistics platform while improving operational efficiency and reducing environmental impact.

A Tata Motors spokesperson stated that the company remains committed to advancing electric commercial mobility in India and that such collaborations strengthen the broader EV ecosystem.

Green Drive Mobility currently operates over 250 electric cargo vehicles serving sectors including FMCG, e-commerce, dairy, courier, and others. The company also offers an EV-as-a-Service model covering fleet management, charging infrastructure, and technology support.

The expanded partnership marks a significant step toward accelerating electric logistics and promoting sustainable transportation in India.
