Flying Flea, Royal Enfield electric two-wheeler brand, has commenced retail operations in Hyderabad, making it the second city in India where the brand has a retail presence. The expansion follows its initial rollout in Bengaluru, where the company added 10 touchpoints in July to supplement its first store in Jayanagar. With its entry into Hyderabad, Flying Flea aims to strengthen its presence in India's electric two-wheeler market and improve customer accessibility.
The brand has established four customer touchpoints across Hyderabad, operating under a hub-and-spoke service model. The network includes a dedicated company-owned store on Erragadda Main Road, which will serve as the central hub for technical support. In addition, three partner touchpoints will provide routine servicing and maintenance. The network is designed to offer customers access to technical assistance and after-sales services.
Flying Flea currently offers the C6 electric motorcycle in its electric two-wheeler portfolio. The model is priced at 2.79 lakh (ex-showroom), while customers can purchase it at 1.99 lakh under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) ownership model. Under this arrangement, the battery cost is separated from the vehicle's upfront price, with customers paying separately for battery usage according to the applicable terms.
The expansion into Hyderabad is part of Flying Flea strategy to increase its retail and service footprint in India. Following its presence in Bengaluru, the brand is now building its customer network in Hyderabad through a combination of company-owned and partner-operated touchpoints. The new network will support customer engagement, technical assistance and maintenance services as the company develops its presence in the electric two-wheeler segment.
