Exicom Tele-Systems Limited has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, marking a significant step in the company’s expansion within India’s rapidly growing electric mobility and power electronics ecosystem. Spread across 18.4 acres, the facility represents an investment of 216 crore and began operations in November 2025.
The new plant has been designed to strengthen Exicom’s capabilities in EV charging solutions, battery systems and critical power electronics, supporting the rapid electrification of mobility and the expansion of digital infrastructure across the country.
The Hyderabad facility brings strong manufacturing capacity across multiple product categories. It can produce 4,000 DC fast chargers annually and up to 100,000 AC chargers every year, catering to public charging infrastructure as well as residential and commercial EV charging needs.
In addition, the facility can manufacture 10,000 rectifiers per month, 50,000 controllers annually and 50,000 critical power systems each year. The plant will also support Exicom’s growing battery ecosystem with a production capacity of 0.5 GWh for lithium-ion battery cell-to-module assembly and 1 GWh for module-to-pack battery manufacturing.
Built on Industry 4.0 principles, the facility features automated assembly lines, precision electronics manufacturing and strict testing protocols. Designed with sustainability in mind, the plant includes a 1 MW rooftop solar system, rainwater harvesting and a sewage treatment facility, while also complying with ISO and BIS standards to support both domestic and export markets.
