Endurance Technologies has commenced commercial production at its new greenfield manufacturing facility in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.The plant has been established to expand the company manufacturing capacity and meet the growing demand for automotive components.
The company board approved the establishment of the dedicated manufacturing plant in May 2024 on an 11-acre land parcel. The facility has been developed at an estimated investment of approximately INR 400.9 crore and has been funded entirely through internal accruals.
The new facility will manufacture aluminium die-cast components and undertake processes including machining, assembly and advanced surface treatments. According to the company, the plant will cater to rising component demand from the four-wheeler and non-automotive sectors.
The plant will manufacture structural and powertrain castings for both internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles and electric vehicle (EV) platforms. This will enable Endurance Technologies to cater to component requirements across conventional automobiles as well as the growing electric mobility segment.
