EKA Mobility has announced a rapid expansion of its authorised dealer network across India, aiming to strengthen the sales and service ecosystem to accelerate electric vehicle adoption. The company, a Champion OEM under the Government of India’s Auto PLI Scheme, is backed by Mitsui & Co. (Japan), VDL Group (Netherlands), NIIF India-Japan Fund, and Enam Holdings.
The company currently operates 60 dealerships nationwide and plans to open more than 30 additional exclusive outlets in the near term. It aims to scale its network to over 200 dealerships across 20+ states by FY27, targeting high-growth sectors such as logistics, e-commerce, FMCG distribution, and public transport.
Each dealership is designed specifically for commercial EV servicing, featuring at least two service bays, factory-trained personnel, and assured spare parts availability to minimise fleet downtime and improve operational efficiency for customers.
Rohit Srivastava, Business Head & Chief Growth Officer at EKA Mobility, said the company is focused on strengthening last-mile connectivity in India, where a robust service ecosystem is essential to meet rising demand for electric commercial vehicles. He added that the company is expanding its ‘Born Electric’ portfolio, which includes three-wheelers, small commercial vehicles, buses, and trucks.
According to the company, all its vehicles are integrated with the AI-powered EKA Connect platform, offering real-time tracking, predictive diagnostics, and fleet analytics. The company also reiterated its commitment to the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiatives by designing and manufacturing its entire commercial EV range domestically while expanding production capacity across its facilities.
