Bounce and ONDC Partner to Strengthen EV Logistics
Bounce has partnered with ONDC to strengthen EV-based last-mile delivery and open logistics infrastructure in India. The collaboration aims to improve fleet utilisation, digital access and delivery capabilities for logistics operators of different sizes.

India-based electric mobility company Bounce has partnered with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to strengthen open logistics infrastructure and last-mile delivery through electric vehicles. ONDC’s logistics network currently includes more than 50 logistics service providers, over 60,000 merchants and more than 150,000 delivery partners, while facilitating over 12,000 deliveries daily.

Under the partnership, Bounce electric mobility and fleet operations capabilities will be integrated with ONDC Open Delivery Protocol (ODP). This will provide merchants, brands and logistics service providers of different sizes access to an interoperable logistics network for digital commerce. ONDC’s model enables merchants to connect with multiple logistics service providers through a single integration.

Despite the size of India’s logistics market, the sector remains highly fragmented. ONDC’s Open Delivery Protocol provides logistics companies with an opportunity to compete on a common digital infrastructure. This can help reduce integration complexity, improve fleet utilisation and make market access easier for smaller fleet operators. Features such as intelligent rider allocation and FIFO (First-In-First-Out) order matching are also aimed at improving delivery efficiency.

Bounce is providing ONDC-enabled logistics services through its Bounce Task platform. The company’s business model combines electric vehicle manufacturing, fleet operations and gig-worker support. According to the company, integrating in-house EV manufacturing with fleet operations enables it to better manage vehicle performance, utilisation and operating costs.

ONDC COO Rohit Lohia said merchants and logistics providers should not have to undertake complex integrations with multiple companies. Bounce CEO and Co-founder Vivekananda Hallekere said the company is focused on providing riders with better electric scooters and improving their earning potential. According to Bounce, more than 12,000 riders are currently active on its platform across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, NCR and Mumbai. The company achieved group-level profitability in March 2026, while its manufacturing facility in Bhiwadi has an annual production capacity of 200,000 units.
