Bhago Mobility and Honda Launch EV Platform for Urban Workers
Bhago Mobility, in partnership with HMSI and HEID, has launched a battery-swapping based electric mobility platform for urban transport workers.

Bhago Mobility has announced the launch of a new electric mobility platform in collaboration with Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) and Honda Power Pack Energy India (HEID), aimed at India’s urban mobility workforce. Unveiled on February 12, 2026, the platform will provide delivery partners, ride-hailing drivers and last-mile logistics workers with access to electric two-wheelers and battery-swapping services.

The service will initially roll out in Delhi and Bengaluru, with plans to expand across India over the next three years. It will operate on a subscription-based model that bundles vehicle access, battery swapping, compliance support and technology services into a single offering.

According to the company, the initiative is designed to address key challenges faced by urban mobility workers, including high vehicle acquisition costs, charging downtime and maintenance requirements. The platform aims to boost worker earnings by over 20 percent through improved uptime and operational efficiency.

Under the partnership, HMSI will supply electric two-wheelers for commercial use, while HEID will provide a battery-swapping network enabling quick battery replacement. The platform will offer both ownership and usage models, allowing users to either own vehicles or make them available for shared operations.

Mutsuo Usui, Director of Sales and Marketing at HMSI, said the collaboration brings together Honda’s manufacturing expertise and advanced battery-swapping technology. Bhago Mobility Managing Director Aditya Goyal noted that solving urban mobility challenges requires a collaborative ecosystem-driven approach.

Bhago technology platform includes background verification, operations management, roadside assistance and performance analytics. The company has also announced initiatives to increase women’s participation in the transportation and logistics workforce through targeted training and support programmes.
