Auto component and mobility technology company Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd has announced its financial results for the fourth quarter (Q4 FY26) and the full financial year ended March 31, 2026, reporting strong growth across key metrics.
Strong Performance in Q4 FY26
The company reported a 47% year-on-year increase in revenue to ₹1,272 crore in Q4 FY26. EBITDA stood at ₹311 crore, reflecting a 32% growth with a margin of 24.4%. Net profit (PAT) rose 17% to ₹192 crore, with a margin of 14.7%. Notably, revenue from battery electric vehicles (BEVs) reached an all-time high contribution of 39%, with BEV revenue growing 22% year-on-year.
During the quarter, Sona Comstar secured four new driveline orders, including three EV programmes and one hybrid programme. For the first time, the company won three orders from European OEMs in a single quarter.
Steady Growth in FY26
For the full year FY26, revenue grew 26% to ₹4,475 crore, while EBITDA stood at ₹1,107 crore with a margin of 24.7%. Adjusted PAT came in at ₹670 crore, marking an 11% year-on-year increase.
The company added 9 new EV programmes and 3 new customers during the year, taking its total EV programme count to 67 across 35 global customers.
Order Wins and Expansion
Sona Comstar secured multiple key orders from OEMs in Europe and India for the supply of differential gears and assemblies for BEV and hybrid platforms. These new programmes have added significantly to the company’s orderbook, with production expected to commence between FY28 and FY29.
Focus on Electrification
Electrification continues to be central to the company’s strategy. In Q4 FY26, BEV revenue reached ₹359 crore, accounting for 39% of total revenue. The addition of three new EV programmes during the quarter further strengthened its EV portfolio.
Commenting on the performance, Vivek Vikram Singh, MD & Group CEO, said that the quarter was the company’s strongest ever, with record highs in revenue, EBITDA, PAT, and BEV contribution. He also highlighted the commercialization of new railway products, including electric control panels and HVAC systems.
Overall, with strong financial performance, increasing EV programme wins, and expanding global presence, Sona Comstar continues to strengthen its position in electrification and advanced mobility solutions.
