Naga Bharath Daka is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Skyroot Aerospace, India's
pioneering space-tech startup. A former scientist at the Indian Space Research Organisation
(ISRO), he holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master's in
Microelectronics and VLSI Design from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
Under the leadership of Bharath and Pawan Kumar Chandana, his co-founder, Skyroot achieved the
historic milestone of launching India's first privately developed rocket into space in 2022. The
startup has garnered national recognition with two awards, expanded its workforce to over 300
members, established four operational factories, and secured a substantial 750-core investment,
the largest for any Indian space startup. Bharath currently oversees operations, avionics, and
guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) teams at Skyroot.
