Ajay Jain has about 21 years of experience in both corporate and start-ups and is a seasoned startup investor. He is the Founder & Managing Partner of Silver Needle Ventures (SNV) Fund, an angel fund that invests in early stage technology enabled startups. The fund size is 15 MN USD & the fund has earmarked 35% of the capital for follow-on rounds. SNV has invested in 14 startups so far. Previously as the founding partner of Xseed Consulting & IIITH Seed Fund, he invested in 30+ early-stage start-ups. In the previous investments, the realized returns have been 7X so far. He has an MBA from Indian School of Business (ISB) and Master of Science degree from University of Arizona (USA). He was the Vice President, Incubation & Scaling at T-hub, India’s largest & fastest growing innovation center. Previous to that he ran an education startup in the impact investment space which raised capital from MSDF & Gray Matters Capital. He worked with the likes of Intel & AMD in technical roles.
