Vijay Yalamanchilli is the Founder of Keka, an HR automation service company that offers reliable and efficient HR software to SME businesses. Besides understanding and leveraging current business trends and industry insights, Vijay also looks after the growth and management of the organisation . Also, at the helm of a tech-led, customer-centric brand, he spearheads product design and strategises product-led development.

Vijay holds a BTech degree in Electronics and Communications from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, and an MS degree in Computer Science from the University of Delaware, USA. He started his career as a software development engineer with Microsoft in 2003. In a career span of almost two decades, Vijay has successfully set up four startups, with Keka being his fourth company. He used the term ‘Keka’ (colloquial meaning awesome) for his organisation as a tribute to his native language, Telugu. While naming his company, Vijay wanted a name that can inspire people, therefore, he chose Keka. He envisions his brand to motivate people to push themselves beyond their boundaries and achieve beyond their limits.

His enthusiasm to excel in the world of technology made him establish innovative software solution companies one after the other. Before starting Keka, he founded companies like Fotolink Media, Ramp Technology Group and Technovert. Over the years, Vijay has co-founded and built technology teams par excellence besides gaining hands-on technical experience in delivering products and solutions from vision to reality. He also possesses a deep understanding of product vision, design and market dynamics. As a compassionate leader, he has built a conducive environment for his employees to work and grow professionally.

Being a coder, designer and product developer, he has expertise in software architecture, business intelligence, SharePoint solutions, cloud computing and SaaS. Vijay is a dynamic and meticulous business leader who believes that there is an unconventional way to leverage human potential to make this world a better place. He believes in conviction and tries to connect and work with people who have the similar trait to work on a purpose. Proving his caliber since the day he stepped into the business world, Vijay remains one of the most successful entrepreneurs in India.
