Shrijeet is the Chief Innovation Officer at the Aditya Birla Group, a $65 billion Fortune 500
conglomerate, since May
2018. He spearheads a multifaceted innovation agenda, including digitalization, data &
analytics, consumer-centric
solutions, innovation fund ecosystems, brand development, and sustainability across the Group.
His team collaborates
closely with the leadership team to identify new business & synergy opportunities in areas such
as consumers, brands,
digital and green. In 2023, he led the successful incubation & launch of the strategic Grasim
B2B Commerce Initiative.
In his career of over 37 years spanning various geographies (APAC & Middle East), Shrijeet has
been recognized for
placing the consumer, sustainability and digital at the forefront of discussions to develop
ecosystem solutions. He has
played a transformative role in multiple brands and businesses, with demonstrated expertise in
P&L, venture capital,
startup mentorship and value chain innovations.
Shrijeet's influence extends beyond the corporate sphere, as he actively partners with many
governments, universities
and startups across India, the US, Sweden, Switzerland, Canada, Israel and Singapore to create
synergistic business
value. Passionate about education, he spearheaded BCCL’s expansion into education business and
established the
Bennett University, which rapidly grew to a 9,000+ community. He is also a frequent speaker at
universities like MIT,
Wharton, Booth etc.
