Ram heads environmental sustainability for Godrej Industries and Associate Companies. He is responsible for driving the Group’s green strategy that aims to achieve net-zero carbon emissions and make our operations and products greener. Ram has 14 years of experience in the environment, energy and water management, across a wide range of roles from regulatory/policy, to process engineering, operations, strategy advisory, business development, business strategy, and product development and management.

Prior to Godrej, Ram was CEO of WiSH Energy Solutions, a renewable energy subsidiary of the Enzen Group, where he was leading strategy, business development and overall P&L. He previously worked as a consultant at Enzen’s Clean Energy & Environment Practice, and was instrumental in implementing energy optimisation projects in the UK. His work experience also includes strategizing environmental management for PI Industries Ltd at their flagship manufacturing facility in Gujarat, and discovering water treatment technologies and developing policy and regulations for drinking water at the National Environment Agency, Singapore.
