Dr. Pradeep Panigrahi is an ESG and Sustainability professional with over 30 years of experience
in reputed businesses - Murugappa Group, Tata Group, Mahindra Group and now with the L&T Group.
He has a Ph. D. in Ecology with an international fellowship from IRD-LEST, Universite’ Paris VI,
France. He is member of several national level committees namely Niti Aayog Working Group on
Water Neutrality/ Positivity, FICCI Environment & Climate Change Committee, CII National Water
Committee, Bombay Chamber’s Sustainability Committee, IICA/ MCA Expert Committee on ‘Business &
Human Rights’, G20 Coalition on Circular Economy, Resource Efficiency, BCC&I National
Infrastructure Committee, IGBC Mumbai Chapter Core Committee and Advisory Board Member of Mumbai
Sustainability Forum by Mumbai First.
Dr. Panigrahi has participated in several national/
international conferences including COP-19 at Warsaw, Poland; COP-28 at Dubai and as a panellist
at Harvard Business School, Boston. Recently Dr. Panigrahi was invited to participate as
panellist in key media panel discussions on sustainability by India Today, Business World, MINT,
ET Now and CNBC. He was recognized as ‘ENVIRONMENT+ENERGY LEADER 100 (2021)’ by

directory of Sustain Labs Paris. He is life member of several reputed organizations including
Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS). Currently Dr. Panigrahi is working as Head – Corporate
Sustainability with L&T and is based out of Landmark building, Andheri, Mumbai.
