Anil Nagar is the CEO and Founder of Adda247, India’s leading online vernacular learning platform that caters to the educational needs of over 80 million students and aspirants across the country. Under his headship, the edtech company has grown into the largest and fastest growing multilingual education technology platform in the country by specializing in K-12, government jobs and other competitive exams. With Anil at the helm, Adda strives to make education affordable to all by expanding its footprint across the vernacular segment at a Pan India scale to remove the language barrier in learning.

Hailing from a rural background with limited access to learning resources and quality education, Anil showed glimpses of his prodigious academic prowess from the very start. He soon gained admission into the prestigious IIT-BHU, where he pursued his B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. He then went on to pursue an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Goa Institute of Management. After completing his formal education, he entered the corporate world and rose to meteoric heights. Initially employed as a Business Analyst in Cognizant Technology Solutions, he soon kickstarted his own venture of educating last mile learners - Metis Eduventures Private Limited where he reigned as the CEO of the company.

Though seated atop the uppermost echelons of the corporate industry, Anil never lost contact with his own humble origination and rustic roots. Therefore, in a bid to provide high-quality educational access to students residing in rural areas and promote social welfare, in 2010 Anil launched ‘Career Power’ along with co-founder Saurabh Bansal, a brand devoted to providing coaching classes to students. Riding on his extraordinary zeal to create a difference, Career Power gradually became one of the fastest growing and most successful enterprises across the educational industry with a pan-India presence of more than 150 centers spread across different regions.

In a display of prophetic vision and deep understanding of the industry, the company heralded a significant transition in 2016 by shifting to an online learning platform under the brand name Adda247. As a master of specialization, Anil has overseen the formation of multiple online learning web portals such as Bankers Adda, SSC Adda, Defence Adda, Teachers Adda etc.
