Global angel investor Kunal Chowdhry is the CEO and Executive Director of Apollo Singapore Investments Pte Ltd., a multi-million-dollar family office offering financial advisory and consultancy services.
A former Vice-President at DBS Bank and a Management Consultant at Accenture, Kunal has twodecades of international experience backed by impeccable academic credentials. He has an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School, an MA (Cantab) from the University of Cambridge on a full Cambridge Commonwealth Trust scholarship and a B.Sc. (Hons) degree from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, where he was the University topper.
In the last five years, 42-year-old Kunal has considerably grown his portfolio of investee companies, having invested in over 25 startups in South and South East Asia that are solving challenging business problems in HR Tech and FinTech.
Being a high-achiever himself, he guides his investee companies through regular strategic deep-dives and business performance reviews, often serving as a sounding board while mentoring startups with new ideas and processes. Some of his start-up investments in India include Box 8, FabAlley, FarEye, Wow! Momo and StoryXpress amongst others.
