Dr Anne Kerr leads Mott MacDonald's Cities Initiative globally. Her portfolio includes the full cycle of project delivery from visioning through design, construction supervision and redevelopment/asset management for communities, cities and individual infrastructure. She has been involved in the development of Sustainable Construction Management Frameworks and Building Performance and Infrastructure Rating tools for governments, sustainable infrastructure and transport master planning assessments and frameworks, energy management and calculations of greenhouse gases from power, infrastructure and holistic city developments as well as "green building and sustainable transport planning" in Asia and the Middle East. She has worked on projects where mobility was used as a power generator for owners homes and vice versa, looking at the development of secure and resilient communities in Asia. Use of robotics and artificial intelligence is becoming more central to the development planning and delivery of the "cities projects" as is innovative solutions for financing resilient cities. She has delivered projects in over 30 countries particularly in the Middle East and Asia Pacific, which helps her understand the drivers for communities and cities in existing environments, regeneration and new development areas which forms this global role.
