Shri Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, is a member of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) of the 1992 batch and working in the state of Telangana. Besides his Masters Degree in Psychology from Delhi University, a degree in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Masters in Public Management from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, he has also done numerous short-term courses across domains.

Shri Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, was awarded World Bank's Social Capital Visiting Scholarship in 2002 and the British Government's Gurukul Chevening Scholarship in 2005. He has also done international consultancy assignments for the World Bank, UN-ESCAP, Sedatu project of Mexico, and for international NGOs working for Youth Issues like YES, Inc of the USA and NMC from Italy. As part of the National Pool of Trainers in Leadership constituted by the Government of India, he is involved in training and mentoring newly recruited Civil Servants to go with his profile of Secretary of the Information Technology (IT) Department of the Telangana government.
