Mr. Pankaj Dinodia

Pankaj started his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York in the Investment Banking division, working on M&A and capital-raising transactions for clients in the Financial Institutions space (FIG). He later moved to India and set up Goldman's Private Equity business (Principal Investment Area) in Mumbai, where he was involved in the execution of numerous investments including Mahindra & Mahindra ($175 million), Sudhir Gensets ($50 million) and TVS Logistics ($25 million).

He went to Modern School Barakhamba Road for his schooling, Graduated magna cum laude from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania for his B.S Economics Degree (concentration in Finance) where he was on the Dean's List and received a MBA from the Harvard Business School (HBS), where he graduated with second year honours. He has also completed an extensive program on Boardroom Strategies & Deal Tactics in Mergers & Acquisitions at the Harvard Law School (HLS).

At Dinodia Capital Advisors leads an accomplished team of MBAs and Chartered Accountants focusing on M&A Advisory and helping clients raise capital. Customers Bancorp Inc., a US banking services firm which is backed and led by Jay Sidhu, a US-based banker of Indian origin, is investing $51 million (Rs 310 crore) to pick around 5.9 per cent stake in Religare Enterprises Ltd. Customers Bancorp agreed to invest in Religare after doing research on investment opportunities in the financial services industry in India with the help of Dinodia Capital Advisors.
