Mrs Kuku Surender Kumar is a dynamic entrepreneur with over 28 years of rich experience (including over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience) involving Strategic Planning & Management, Profit Centre Operations, New Business Set-up, Business Development, Operations Management, Key Account Management, Training & Development and Team Management in the Travel, Tourism & Education Industry. She has a strong professional record of setting up multiple ventures related to the travel industry, including TMI Academy of Travel, Tourism & Aviation studies regarded as one of the premier profession-oriented educational institutes in India, imparting travel education. Mrs Kumar commenced her career in travel in the year 1980 as an airline trainee and in January 1990 she started her own travel agency under the banner of Travel Mate India Pvt Ltd. Mrs Kumar has won several accolades like "Outstanding Business Woman Award" for the year 2002-2003 by PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry and "Outstanding Woman Entrepreneur" for the year 2003�2004 by FICCI. She is a member of Federation of Indian Women Entrepreneurs (FIWE) and is presently holding the position of Vice President.
